But in 1967, when this soft-spoken interracial couple are exiled from <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Virginia\" target=\"_blank\">Virginia<\/a>\u2014the only home they have ever known\u2014for the crime of merely falling in love and getting married, they feel they have no choice but to fight back.
