The stories found in <em><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mrs._Spring_Fragrance\" target=\"_blank\">Mrs. Spring Fragrance and Other Writings<\/a><\/em>,  including \u201cPat and Pan,\u201d \u201cIts Wavering Image,\u201d along with excerpts from  \u201cThe Story of One White Woman who Married a Chinese,\u201d \u201cHer Loving  Husband,\u201d and Sui Sin Far\u2019s autobiographical essay, \u201cLeaves from the  Mental Portfolio of an Eurasian,\u201d exemplify the artistic and  psychological complexity of Sui Sin Far\u2019s treatment of the biracial  character and of interracial marriage.
