Rather, <strong>Obama\u2019s identity is informed by his social experience<\/strong>, and the reality of racism is evidenced not simply in his experiences in the 1970s or 1980s, but in the continued focus on his place of birth and by the fact that over 90% of White American voters in <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mississippi\" target=\"_blank\">Mississippi<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Alabama\" target=\"_blank\">Alabama<\/a> voted for his opponent.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Dr. Omar Khan, \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mixedracestudies.org\/?p=26941\" target=\"_blank\">Who are we?
