Dr. Yaba\u2019s work with (<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">1<\/span>)NE DROP is currently being featured as part of CNN\u2019s documentary \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mixedracestudies.org\/?p=26792\" target=\"_blank\">Who is Black in America?<\/a>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This event will explore what Blackness is and what Blackness looks like. On the whole, the project seeks to raise social awareness and spark community dialogue about the complexities of Blackness as both an identity and a lived reality.<\/p>\n<p>(<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">1<\/span>)NE DROP literally explores the \u201cother\u201d faces of Blackness\u2014those who may not immediately be recognized, accepted or embraced as \u201cBlack\u201d in our visually racialized society. Admission is free and open to the public.
