She said she was reluctant to use the term \u201cbiracial\u201d when referring to herself because people accused her of betrayal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey make you choose sides,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>I thought for a moment and then replied, \u201cNo one has the right to tell you who you are. You\u2019re you.
