Joseph<\/a><\/strong>, Professor of History<br \/>\n<em>Tufts University, Medford, Massachusetts<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>In the sixth and final installment of his PBS series, Henry Louis Gates Jr. leads us from the black power movement to the historic election of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Barack_Obama\" target=\"_blank\">Barack Obama<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Americans have notoriously short memories when it comes to race and history, especially black history.
