Dead-eyed <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Peter_Capaldi\" target=\"_blank\">Peter Capaldi<\/a> as <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Louis_XIII_of_France\" target=\"_blank\">Louis XIII&#8217;s<\/a> enforcer <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cardinal_Richelieu\" target=\"_blank\">Cardinal Richelieu<\/a>, that 17th-century prototype of Capaldi&#8217;s Malcolm Tucker in <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Thick_of_It\" target=\"_blank\"><em>The\u00a0Thick of It<\/em><\/a>? Check.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s so much diverting stuff in BBC1&#8217;s <a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/programmes\/p00sxqkb\">current adaptation of The Musketeers<\/a> that you might have missed perhaps its most intriguing aspect.
