Dohr Professor of Law<br \/>\n<em>Columbia University, New York, New York<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The rise in academic book bannings and firings is compounded by the US&#8217;s growing disregard for scholarship itself<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Recently, I found out that my work is mentioned in a book that has been banned, in effect, from the schools in <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tucson,_Arizona\" target=\"_blank\">Tucson, Arizona<\/a>.
