Her late biological father was Rodney Parker, a legendary <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/New_York_City\" target=\"_blank\">New York City<\/a> college basketball scout from <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Brooklyn\" target=\"_blank\">Brooklyn<\/a> whose life was captured in a book called <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Heaven_Is_a_Playground\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Heaven is a Playground<\/em><\/a> that was later made into a movie. <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Barack_Obama\" target=\"_blank\">President Barack Obama<\/a> said it was the best basketball book he had ever read.
