His show\u2019s premiere will be announced at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>Noah (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.trevornoah.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.trevornoah.com<\/a>) joined \u201cThe Daily Show with Jon Stewart\u201d in 2014 as a contributor. He made his U.S. television debut in 2012 on \u201cThe Tonight Show with Jay Leno\u201d and has also appeared on \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/IkaaEqbor5U\" target=\"_blank\">Late Show with David Letterman<\/a>,\u201d becoming the first South African stand-up comedian to appear on either late night show. Born in <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/South_Africa\" target=\"_blank\">South Africa<\/a> to a black South African mother and a white European father, he has successfully become the top comedian in Africa. Noah has hosted numerous television shows including his own late night talk show in his native country, \u201cTonight with Trevor Noah.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTrevor Noah is an enormous talent. He has an insightful and unique point of view, and most importantly, is wickedly funny,\u201d said Ganeless. \u201cFor the next host of \u2018The Daily Show,\u2019 we set out to find a fresh voice who can speak to our audience with a keen take on the events of the day, and we found that in Trevor.
