The tornado of public attention has since moved on, but <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rachel_Dolezal\" target=\"_blank\">Rachel Dolezal<\/a> still has to live with her choices\u2014and still refuses to back down.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s safe to say that Rachel Dolezal never thought much about the endgame. You can see it on her face in the local-TV news video\u2014the one so potently viral it transformed her from regional curiosity to global punch line in the span of 48 hours in mid-June.
