In \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.littlewhiteliethefilm.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Little White Lie<\/a>,\u201d a documentary that screened in major U.S. cities and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mixedracestudies.org\/?p=38904\" target=\"_blank\">aired on PBS in March<\/a>, Schwartz explored her shifting racial identity and what it means to be black \u2014 and Jewish \u2014 in America. Designated a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mixedracestudies.org\/?p=38489\" target=\"_blank\"><em>New York Times<\/em> Critics\u2019 Pick<\/a>, the film received favorable reviews overall.
