Regardless of whether this is true or not hasn\u2019t eradicated in <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Puerto_Rico\" target=\"_blank\">Puerto Rico<\/a> structural or personal racism. Belief in <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mixedracestudies.org\/?p=14551\" target=\"_blank\">mestizaje<\/a><\/em> silences conversations about white supremacy and doesn\u2019t force those with privilege to take responsibility for it.
