She tells <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jenni_Murray\" target=\"_blank\">Jenni<\/a> about the plans she has for her new role.<\/p>\n<p>Today a new exhibition examining how food, fashion and lifestyle have shaped women&#8217;s bodies and lives opens at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yorkcastlemuseum.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">York Castle Museum<\/a>. The curator <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/alibodley\" target=\"_blank\">Ali Bodley<\/a> and fashion historian <a href=\"http:\/\/www.historywardrobe.com\/aboutus.html\" target=\"_blank\">Lucy Adlington<\/a> join Jenni to talk about 400 years of squeezing and binding. And, how the current vogue for big bottoms and padded underwear echoes the false rumps of the past.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mary_Magdalene\" target=\"_blank\">Mary Magdalene<\/a> &#8211; what do we know about the woman who was described as the constant companion of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jesus\" target=\"_blank\">Jesus<\/a>, who wept at the foot of the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Christian_cross\" target=\"_blank\">Cross<\/a>, and who gave the first account of the empty tomb? What is it about her story that continues to fascinate and what evidence is there that she was a prostitute or even the wife of Jesus? <a href=\"http:\/\/michaelhaag.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Michael Haag<\/a> author of <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.harpercollins.com\/9780062059765\/the-quest-for-mary-magdalene\" target=\"_blank\">The Quest for Mary Magdalene<\/a><\/em> speaks to Jenni.<\/p>\n<p>Penrose Halson author of &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.panmacmillan.com\/authors\/penrose-halson\/marriages-are-made-in-bond-street\" target=\"_blank\">Marriages are Made In Bond Street<\/a>&#8221; traces the history of one of Britain&#8217;s most successful marriage bureaux founded by two twenty-four year olds in the Spring of 1939.
