Estimates vary about the numbers of broadly defined \u201cemerging\u201d communities \u2014 and range at the upper end in the millions.<\/p>\n<p>Is this the Jewish Diaspora of the 21st century?<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s the question that Israel\u2019s Ministry of Diaspora Affairs is now considering. <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Israel\" target=\"_blank\">The State of Israel<\/a>, for the most part, has kept many of these groups at a distance, wary of making blanket decisions and of parsing out each community\u2019s complicated ancestral claims or individual religious practice&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Read the entire article <a href=\"http:\/\/forward.com\/news\/339682\/the-new-jewish-diaspora\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The New Jewish Diaspora?
