It stars <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Matthew_McConaughey\" target=\"_blank\">Mathew McConaughey<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gugu_Mbatha-Raw\" target=\"_blank\">Gugu Mbatha-Raw<\/a>. Release date is June 24.<\/small><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>Very little has been told and much has been suppressed about Southerners who defended the Union during the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/American_Civil_War\" target=\"_blank\">Civil War<\/a>. On June 24, the release of the movie <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt1124037\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>The Free State of Jones<\/em><\/a> brings to the public the best known story of resisters to the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Confederate_States_of_America\" target=\"_blank\">Confederacy<\/a>. In preparation for the movie\u2019s release, Marvin T.
