href=\"http:\/\/www.ugapress.org\/index.php\/books\/beyond_katrina1\" target=\"_blank\">Beyond Katrina: A Meditation on the Mississippi Gulf Coast<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em>Trethewey also reads from her most recent poetry collection, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mixedracestudies.org\/?p=23366\" target=\"_blank\">Thrall<\/a><\/em><em>, <\/em>which includes an elegy for her now deceased father, the poet <a href=\"http:\/\/www.roanoke.com\/arts_and_entertainment\/arts\/hollins-professor-eric-trethewey-was-fine-strong-poet\/article_126a478f-c747-5f2a-9af0-69ca3f93d3f8.html\" target=\"_blank\">Eric Trethewey<\/a>, in front of an audience as part of the 2015 Humanities Lecture Series at Kansas University\u2019s Hall Center for the Humanities. <em>New Letters on the Air <\/em>also has an earlier
