No prizes for guessing the topic: It\u2019s an assessment of the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Patient_Protection_and_Affordable_Care_Act\" target=\"_blank\">Affordable Care Act<\/a> as well as policy recommendations for the next president to improve the U.S. health care system.<\/p>\n<p>The article, titled \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mixedracestudies.org\/?p=48242\" target=\"_blank\">United States Health Care Reform: Progress to Date and Next Steps<\/a>,\u201d was published by the <a href=\"http:\/\/jama.jamanetwork.com\/journal.aspx\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Journal of the American Medical Association<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The piece, which contains 68 footnotes to academic journals and government publications, claims to present evidence showing that the number of Americans without health insurance has dropped dramatically, and resulted in lower hospital readmission rates.
