Still, I worry about the people in them. When I started dating \u201cKevin,\u201d I was concerned about the demographics of the relationship. I worried about how it would play out with our families and friends, the rest of the world.<\/p>\n<p>The one thing I didn\u2019t really understand was how it would play out between us.<\/p>\n<p>So I wrote about it. I wrote about how <a href=\"http:\/\/blackgirlnerds.com\/othering-self-learning-recognize-anti-blackness\/\" target=\"_blank\">I\u2019d desensitized myself to a lot of casual racism<\/a> in my life as a survival tactic. I wrote about how I\u2019d internalized anti-Blackness.
