You can find the first blog post <a href=\"http:\/\/www.harvardindependent.com\/2016\/07\/identity-abroad\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The date is June 20th, and I\u2019m just about physically adjusted to being several time-zones away from home.<\/p>\n<p>However, in many ways being here is something I\u2019m not sure I can ever get used to. To forward this, and something I should\u2019ve mentioned in my first blog post, is that while I am a Latina, I am <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mixedracestudies.org\/?p=5864\" target=\"_blank\">white-passing<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Passing as white grants me many privileges at home and abroad \u2013 and particularly in the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Czech_Republic\" target=\"_blank\">Czech Republic<\/a> \u2013 that many would not be afforded.
