James was bishop of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Portland,_Maine\" target=\"_blank\">Portland, Maine<\/a>; Patrick, president of Georgetown University; and Sherwood, chief supervisor of the building of the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cathedral_of_the_Holy_Cross_(Boston)\" target=\"_blank\">Cathedral of the Holy Cross<\/a>.
