And they were spoken by the pediatrician who delivered me at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.altabatessummit.org\" target=\"_blank\">Alta Bates Hospital<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Berkeley,_California\" target=\"_blank\">Berkeley, California<\/a>. Dr. Boynton was her name.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s gonna have a hard time proving he\u2019s a brother.\u201d A <em>brother<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>This was the [19]70s. And, the doctor who said those words, our pediatrician, couldn\u2019t have realized how right she was.
