Writer-director <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jeff_Nichols\" target=\"_blank\">Jeff Nichols\u2019<\/a> two-hour film chronicles the nine-year saga of the couple\u2019s courtship, marriage, arrest, banishment and Supreme Court triumph in 1967, which declared state proscriptions against interracial marriage unconstitutional.<\/p>\n<p>The film also, however, sticks close to <a href=\"http:\/\/time.com\/4362508\/loving-v-virginia-personas\/\" target=\"_blank\">popular myths<\/a> that have dogged the case for decades, particularly by contextualizing the story within a black\/white racial binary\u2014when in fact Richard and Mildred Loving are prime examples of the way such lines have long been blurred&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Read the entire article <a href=\"http:\/\/time.com\/4552130\/loving-movie-racial-passing-history\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The White and Black Worlds of Loving v.
