Now, \u201cThe Wars of the Roses\u201d \u2013 which comes to \u201cGreat Performances\u201d on three consecutive Sundays beginning December 11 at 9 p.m. \u2013 picks up the story with epic film versions of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Henry_VI_(play)\" target=\"_blank\">Henry VI<\/a> (in two parts) and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Richard_III_(play)\" target=\"_blank\">Richard III<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The new series aired to great acclaim on the BBC this May.\u00a0A\u00a0Neal Street co-production with Carnival\/NBCUniversal and THIRTEEN for BBC Two, the series was filmed in locations around the UK.
