She said, \u201cDo you think you make it harder on yourself because you call attention to the fact that you\u2019re Hispanic?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I find that question problematic for many reasons. But in that moment, I ignored it. I didn\u2019t say anything, and when I got home I thought to myself, \u201cHow do I call attention to the fact that I\u2019m Hispanic?
