Sofia Richie has been known to the world as Lionel Richie\u2019s<\/a> daughter, Nicole Richie\u2019s<\/a> half-sister, and Justin Bieber\u2019s<\/a> BAE<\/a>. Now, the aspiring model is ready to make her solo debut\u2014Without Losing her Privacy.<\/em><\/p>\n

Sorry\u2014Sofia Richie does not want to talk about Justin Bieber.<\/p>\n

Sitting in an outdoor booth at the Beverly Hills Hotel\u2019s<\/a> luxurious Polo Lounge<\/a>, Richie\u2019s manager, Alex Avant, is setting the terms of her impending interview. Hollywood handlers are typically overprotective, but his chaperoning will prove to be extra oppressive: He\u2019s a longtime family friend and has been personally tasked by Richie\u2019s father, Lionel, to take care of his baby.<\/p>\n

Whatever Richie wants, she gets. And what she wants is no Bieber questions.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are just so many rumors and lies,\u201d Avant says. He waves at Russell Simmons<\/a> across the room.<\/p>\n

Avant is told this interview is a great way to clear up those rumors and lies.<\/p>\n

He shakes his head.<\/p>\n

So, Sofia and Justin, are they still\u2026?<\/p>\n

He nods, then shakes his head, somehow confirming and denying at the same time. \u201cJust no questions,\u201d he says finally.<\/p>\n

This is unfortunate, because at the present time, Sofia Richie, 18, is known for three things: her famous family (singer and father Lionel and former reality star\/current fashion-plate sister Nicole), walking in Kanye West\u2019s most recent Yeezy Season fashion show<\/a> (the one whose casting call was for \u201cmultiracial women only<\/a>\u201d), and, yes, dating Bieber<\/a>…<\/p>\n
