His remarkable ascent\u2014as the son of a mixed-race marriage, the child of a single mother in <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hawaii\" target=\"_blank\">Hawaii<\/a>\u2014to the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Oval_Office\" target=\"_blank\">Oval Office<\/a> is as great a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Log-Cabin-Myth-Backgrounds-Presidents\/dp\/0300037546\" target=\"_blank\">Log Cabin tale<\/a> as that of any of his 43 predecessors. Maybe it\u2019s because of his swift rise or his outlier\/insider duality that he remains, even in his last days in office, the object of so much dispute.<\/p>\n<p>The president has already penned two deservedly acclaimed memoirs and more are planned.
