As the first black woman to become a principal dancer for the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/American_Ballet_Theatre\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">American Ballet Theatre<\/a>, Copeland knows what it\u2019s like to be one of the few women of color to break through.
