But it\u2019s more intriguing how language directs us as much as we direct language, kind of like a stubborn <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Global_Positioning_System\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GPS<\/a> that doesn\u2019t adjust to the driver\u2019s every whim.
