After hosting a series of large, international, and interdisciplinary conferences in Spain (Leon in 2006, 2008; Cad\u00edz 2011), Britain (London 2013), Germany\u00a0(M\u00fcnster 2015), and Finland (Tampere 2017), we envisage the conference moving to a new European destination.<\/p>\n<p>Black and African European Studies explore social spaces and cultural practices that are characterised by a series of contemporary and historical overlaps between Africa, the African diasporas, and Europe.
