There\u2019s a building in Harlem<\/a> that houses, some say, the largest collection of Black history in the world. At the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture<\/a>, you can see and touch original documents like the Malcolm X<\/a> papers and the Nate King Cole<\/a> papers. The center also holds specialized exhibits, film screenings, and panel discussions.<\/p>\n

The center is named after Arturo Schomburg<\/a>, also known as the \u201cFather of Black History,\u201d who sold his personal collection of books, pamphlets, manuscripts, and data to the New York Public Library<\/a> in 1926…<\/p>\n
