With journalist <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/roseaclermont\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rose-Anne Clermont<\/a> he pursued the question where race fits in the construction of modern identity. Both reflected upon their own biographies and what it means living in <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Germany\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Germany<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/France\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">France<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/United_States\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">U.S.<\/a> as a mixed-race family.
