Ms. Desmond, a beauty-school owner from <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Halifax,_Nova_Scotia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Halifax<\/a>, was temporarily stranded in <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/New_Glasgow,_Nova_Scotia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New Glasgow, N.S.<\/a>, after some car trouble.
