should be awarded a <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Military_Cross\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Military Cross<\/a> 100 years after his death, says <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tottenham\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tottenham<\/a> MP <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/David_Lammy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">David Lammy<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tull, who played for <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tottenham_Hotspur_F.C.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Northampton_Town_F.C.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Northampton Town<\/a>, died aged 29 when he was shot on the battlefields of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/France\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">France<\/a> during <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/World_War_I\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">World War One<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He was <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/United_Kingdom\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Britain&#8217;s<\/a> first black Army officer to command white troops.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;His service on behalf of this country was immense,&#8221;
