Thanks to Cindy McCain<\/a>, the widow of Senator John McCain<\/a>, this issue recently made headlines<\/a> when Mrs. McCain believed she was witnessing a case of child trafficking at an Arizona<\/a> airport. What McCain really saw was a mother traveling with her mixed-race child, but because the two didn\u2019t \u201cmatch\u201d she thought they looked suspicious so she alerted the police. I\u2019m joined by travel blogger<\/a> and interracial justice worker, Carmen Sognonvi<\/a> to talk about what it\u2019s really like to travel with a family that \u201cdoesn\u2019t match,\u201d and to discuss the benefits and joys of family travel.<\/p>\n
