When Gugu Mbatha-Raw<\/a> signed up to be a superhero, little did she know she\u2019d be squaring off against Iron Man<\/a>, Thor<\/a>, Captain America<\/a> and the rest of the Marvel universe<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But two years later, \u201cFast Color<\/a>\u201d has found itself in theaters at the same time as \u201cAvengers: Endgame<\/a>\u201d \u2014 and heralded as the antidote to men destroying the world to save it.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s quite an interesting journey that it\u2019s being compared and contrasted to a huge Marvel juggernaut, which was never our intention,\u201d she said. \u201cBut I have to say I\u2019m interested in the conversation. I haven\u2019t always seen myself represented in those kinds of movies, as a lot of people haven\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n
