was once a derogatory term for having mixed heritage. &#8220;Between &#8216;bi-racial&#8217; and &#8216;bounty,'&#8221; Hannah writes, &#8220;I find the label &#8216;borderliner&#8217; which the dictionary tells me, means uncertain or debatable.&#8221;
