One might question, for example, why the couple supposedly didn\u2019t feel any qualms about raising a <em>white<\/em> child in a town that is \u201ctoo racially intolerant.\u201d \u2018Wrongful birth\u2019s\u2019 transition into the realm of race significantly marks a recognition of the social, political, and environmental issues sustaining raci<em>sm<\/em> and its associated harms, but the problem here is the site of redress\u2014the white mothers\u2014rather than the environment lending credence to their case in the first place.
