He lives in <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Southern_California\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Southern California<\/a>, where Weissler spent most of her childhood, but the two talk frequently. She calls him her \u201cbiggest cheerleader.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But there\u2019s one topic they always seem to dance around: race.<\/p>\n<p>Weissler is biracial: Her dad is white and her mom is Black.
