EXCLUSIVE:<\/strong> MGM\/UA Television<\/a> has acquired the rights to Rebecca Carroll\u2019s<\/a> upcoming memoir Surviving the White Gaze<\/em><\/a> in a competitive situation ahead of its release. Simon & Schuster<\/a> is set to publish the book on February 2, 2021.<\/p>\n

Carroll is set to adapt her memoir as a limited series and serve as an executive producer on the project. The project was brought to MGM by Killer Films<\/a>, and represents the first series to come out of the company\u2019s first-look deal with the studio. Killer Films\u2019 Christine Vachon<\/a> and Pamela Koffler<\/a> will also serve as executive producers.<\/p>\n
