She waited to propose until they had reached <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Connecticut\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Connecticut<\/a> because of the several <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wiktionary.org\/wiki\/miscegenetic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">miscegenetic<\/a> laws that <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Massachusetts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Massachusetts<\/a> had.
