to &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Human_Stain_(film)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Human Stain<\/a>.&#8221; And off-screen, the subject of &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mixedracestudies.org\/?p=5864\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">passing<\/a>&#8221; \u2013 crossing the color line \u2013 is just as complex.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The world perceives me as White, at least visually,&#8221; said <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Chicago\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chicago<\/a> lawyer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/martina-tina-hone-56b90a2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Martina Hone<\/a>, who has lived her whole life balancing her Black mother&#8217;s identity with her European father&#8217;s privilege.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;CBS Saturday Morning&#8221;
