When she tells them she\u2019s Black, they\u2019re surprised.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn their minds, Black people don\u2019t cross into Mexico to help others,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Black migrants usually assume she\u2019s Latina.
