She visits the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bourbonorleans.com\/wedding-venues\/orleans-ballroom\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Orleans Ballroom<\/a> at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bourbonorleans.com\/the-hotel\/history\/orleans-theatre-ballroom\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bourbon Orleans Hotel<\/a> in the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/French_Quarter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">French Quarter<\/a>, one of the possible sites of the quadroon balls. Stewart also interviews <a href=\"https:\/\/obits.nola.com\/us\/obituaries\/nola\/name\/donald-hardy-obituary?id=10183535\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Clive Hardy<\/a>, the archivist at the University of New Orleans, who discusses his research into the history of the quadroon balls.
