Like all other groups of lone parent families, these are overwhelmingly headed by mothers.<\/p>\n<p>In this research report Dr. Chamion Caballero and Prof. Rosalind Edwards, of the London South Bank University, pulls together data from interviews with mothers of mixed-race children whose fathers are absent.
